JCRC-NY works on issues and projects with its member agencies and other Jewish organizations in its eight (8) county catchment area and, thereby, strengthens the whole NY Jewish community. It is a resource center for area organizations seeking information, referrals and assistance.

JCRC-NY's mission is to promote the welfare of our diverse Jewish community.  It promotes programs which increase the level of communication, information and interaction and inclusiveness among the Jewish mini-communities. JCRC-NY helps establish programs to regenerate Jewish life; encourage Jewish immigrants to take active roles in the community; and protect recent emigres and other vulnerable Jews.
