On Monday, January 4, 2010 the JCRC held its first workshop and webinar on “Accessing the 2010 Nonprofit Security Grants Program.” Steve Tierney from the New York State Office of Homeland Security and David Pollock of the JCRC presented. View the presentation here.

New York State is committed to working with the not-for-profit community to identify its security needs and developing solutions and strategies for improving security and protecting not-for-profit institutions facing an increased risk of terrorist attack. A new survey is part of this effort.
